John Colven

We were pleased to welcome back Michael Richardson to give us another illustrated talk about Durham. Michael runs the Gilesgate Archive and he treated us to a fascinating presentation of photographs from Durham’s past. As well as views of the city centre and river banks, we enjoyed seeing pictures of local residents, especially Mr John Colven, grandfather of one of our members.
