Club Outing to Edinburgh

47 members set out on the annual club outing. We stopped for coffee at the Jedburgh Woollen Mills. Edinburgh was extremely busy due to Armed Forces Day parades and activities in the city centre. All of the coach parking spaces were occupied, so we had to quickly alight the coach and Brian parked on the outskirts of the city for the day.  It was dry and overcast as 17 members set out to climb up Arthur’s Seat. As we climbed, we could hear marching band music as the military bands marched through the streets. We followed the paths to St Mary’s Loch and finished the walk at Holyrood Palace.
